Reviews help clients choose a practitioner. This page explains who can review, how we ask, and when we remove a review.
Who can review
- Only clients who booked and attended a session through Sissoo.
- Each review is about the service you booked. It shows a "verified" label and counts towards the practitioner's rating.
- One review per booking.
- Practitioners, their family and friends, and Sissoo staff can't review practitioners on Sissoo.
How we ask
- The day after your session, we email you to ask how it went. The email has a personal review link. It works for 30 days, and you don't need to sign in.
- 4 days after your session, Trustpilot, an independent review site, may email you. That review is about Sissoo itself: finding, booking, paying and support. If you don't reply, Trustpilot sends one reminder a week later.
- Two separate emails, one question each, so it's clear what you're reviewing.
- Every client is asked the same way, after every session, whatever the experience. This includes free introductory calls, and sessions that were later refunded.
- At most one review email per service every 30 days, and one Trustpilot invitation every 3 months.
- We don't send these emails after Sissoo's own calls with practitioners who want to join.
- You don't have to leave a review. Each email has a link to stop review emails.
We publish every genuine review
- Reviews go live as soon as you send them.
- Our word filter sometimes holds a review. A person then checks it, usually within 5 working days.
- We never remove or hide a review because it's negative.
- Practitioners can't edit, hide or delete reviews. They can ask us to check a review.
When we remove a review
We only remove a review if it:
- includes personal or health details about you or someone else, or contact details;
- is offensive, hateful, threatening or harassing;
- isn't about a real session booked on Sissoo, or is about the wrong practitioner or service;
- was written by the practitioner, someone close to them, a competitor or Sissoo staff;
- was paid for, or written in exchange for something;
- advertises something or contains links;
- breaks the law, or makes claims that could put someone's health at risk.
If we remove your review, we email you to say why. If it's something you can fix, like personal details, you can send it again. We don't edit what you write.
A review or a complaint?
- A review is your honest opinion, for other clients.
- A complaint is when you need us to put something right, such as a missed session, a refund or a concern about a practitioner.
For a complaint, use the chat (bottom left on any sissoo.com page), message us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook from our contact page, or email support@sissoo.com.
You can do both. We never ask you to change or remove a review to resolve a complaint.
No rewards for reviews
- We never offer anything for a review: no discounts, points, gift cards, prize draws or refunds.
- Practitioners may not offer anything either, or ask only happy clients.
- If someone offers you something for a review, please tell us.
How we check reviews
- Automatically: only clients with a booking can review, through the personal link we send after the session or from the account they booked with.
- By our team: we look for unusual patterns, such as several reviews from one person. We check every review that's reported to us.
- Report a review: use the chat or our contact page. We aim to check it within 5 working days. It stays visible while we check, unless it has personal details or harmful content.
Dates and order
- Each review shows the date it was posted.
- Reviews from our email link also show the session date, or "Free introductory call on" and the date.
- Reviews are listed newest first.
- Reviews stay published while the service is on Sissoo, unless we remove them under these rules or you ask us to.
Testimonials from practitioners
- Some services also show testimonials from clients a practitioner worked with before Sissoo.
- Each one is labelled "Client testimonial shared by the practitioner – not from a Sissoo booking". It never shows the verified label.
- Practitioners must send testimonials unedited, including less positive ones, and only with the client's agreement.
- If a testimonial includes a star rating, it counts towards the practitioner's rating.
Your data
- Only your first name and the initial of your surname are shown. Your email address is never shown.
- You can ask us to change or remove your review at any time.
- Read our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
Trustpilot reviews
- Trustpilot reviews are about Sissoo as a platform, not about individual practitioners.
- Trustpilot sends the invitations, publishes the reviews and moderates them under its own rules. We can't remove or edit them; we can only report a review that breaks those rules.
- To send the invitation, we give Trustpilot only your first name, email address, booking reference and language. Trustpilot handles your data under its own privacy policy.
