Rolfing
Rolfing® is a form of hands-on bodywork and movement training that re-organises the connective tissue of the body (fascia) so that it can function more effectively. The theory of the practice recognises that over time, events in our life, such as an injury or a trauma can possibly lead to the natural alignment of out body with respect to gravity to be lost. This causes internal stresses resulting in physical and emotional discomfort. Rolfing® aims to correct these imbalances in our body so as to reduce the compensations and stresses that can cause us pain. The benefits of Rolfing® include, an improved posture, improved flexibility and range of movements, it enhances the ease of breathing, releasing painful holding patterns and helps manage acute and chronic pain from past injuries.
