Tui Na/Acupressure

Tui Na (say ‘twee-nah’) is a traditional Chinese massage in which the practitioner presses, kneads and stretches your muscles, often on acupressure points. It can be firm, like a deep tissue massage, or gentle. It is one of the main branches of traditional Chinese medicine, which sees health as a balanced flow of energy (qi). There is limited evidence that it may ease low back pain and help sleep: see “Tui Na and acupressure: what the research says”.
