Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a very gentle hands-on practice in which you lie fully clothed while the practitioner uses light touch, mostly on your head, neck and back. It grew out of osteopathy, and practitioners describe feeling for a subtle rhythm in the body and aim to release tension. Studies are few, with mixed results for pain, so the evidence is limited: see “Craniosacral therapy: what the research says”.
