PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) is a health condition. The treatments with the best evidence are trauma-focused talking therapies, such as trauma-focused CBT and EMDR. Your doctor can refer you, or you can see a qualified therapist.
Some people use hypnotherapy alongside that care, for example to relax or to feel calmer. There is not enough good research to say that hypnotherapy treats PTSD.
If you have PTSD symptoms, please talk to your doctor first. If you book a hypnotherapist on Sissoo, tell them about your diagnosis and the care you already have.
