Light Therapy
Light Therapy (LT) is easy to use, has easy recovery and is relatively safe with no side effects. Every colour light has a different wavelength that carries a frequency with varying healing capabilities. There are various uses for light therapy. One of the most common is heliotherapy which involves exposure to sunlight or special lamps that mimic sunlight to treat seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and sleep cycles. Red light therapy energizes the cell stimulating activity to help with inflammation and alleviate stress. LED light therapy is used for skincare which helps with acne, fine lines, and wrinkles. As our cells do the work it takes to keep us functioning and healthy, photons of light are emitted which are a part of the energetic and chemical process of life therefore, light is an essential part of our well-being.
