Flower Essence Therapy
Flower essence therapy is a practice in which a practitioner talks with you about how you feel, then chooses a personal mix of flower essences to take as drops. The essences are made by steeping flowers in water and are best known from the Bach flower remedies, created by Edward Bach in the 1930s. Practitioners believe each flower carries an imprint that supports emotional balance, but careful studies found the remedies worked no better than a placebo for anxiety: see “Flower essence therapy: what the research says”.
