No good evidence yet that spiritual guidance helps health needs. Some value it for meaning; it does not replace medical care.
What a session is
A one-to-one session with a spiritual guide that explores meaning, purpose and your spiritual path. Depending on the practitioner, it may be a supportive talk, a reading (such as a soul path or Akashic Records reading) or energy work.

Is it safe?
Spiritual guides, like most complementary therapists, do not need to be registered by law, and a session does not replace medical or mental health care. Never stop a prescribed medicine without talking to your doctor. If low mood lasts more than 2 weeks, or you are struggling to cope, see a GP. NHS, 2026 · NHS, 2026
Sessions on Sissoo complement medical care and never replace it. Please don’t stop or change any treatment without talking to your doctor. If you feel very low or think about ending your life, call your local emergency number now.
